Weekend Rice & Curry Menu

Rice & Curry is a special meal featuring several dishes together on one plate. The menu rotates every week and includes everything listed below. [This is offered in addition to our main menu.]
To order rice & curry online, select a pickup or delivery time on a weekend, and then you'll find "rice & curry" in the Entrees section of the menu.
From Friday 5/27 to Sunday 5/29, we will be serving:
- Eggfruit Curry (Lavulu Maluwa)
Eggfruit (aka canistel) cooked in a moderately spicy gravy with coconut milk, onions, garlic, chilies, curry leaves, and roasted spices

Deviled Cabbage (Gova Thel Dala)
Green cabbage stir-fried in coconut oil with onions, garlic, green chilies, mustard seeds, red chili flakes, and curry leaves
- Tempered Beetroot (Beetroot Themparaduwa)
Shredded beetroot with stir-fried in coconut oil with onions, garlic, rampe, curry leaves, mustard seeds, and a splash of coconut cream
- Dahl (Parippu)
Masoor dahl tempered with onion, curry leaves, cumin, and mustard seed
- Cucumber Sambol (Pipinna Sambol)
Sliced Persian cucumber with red onion, green chilies, lime juice, chili flakes, and black pepper
- Yellow Rice (Kaha Bath)
Basmati rice cooked with rampe, coconut oil, vegetable broth, and saffron
- Papadam (Papadam)
Crispy fried crackers made from lentil flour
- Choice of coconut sambol or seeni sambal
Served on a banana leaf. Gluten-Free and Soy-Free. We are not an entirely gluten- or soy-free kitchen. Optional spicy curries to add include:
- Chick'n Curry (Kukul Mas Mirisata)
A rich and spicy curry made with vegan chick'n, roasted spices, garlic, ginger, and lemongrass (contains gluten & soy)
- Young Jackfruit Curry (Polos Mirisata)
A fragrant and moderately spicy curry made from young Sri Lankan jackfruit with roasted spices, onions, garlic, ginger, and coconut milk (gluten-free, soy-free)

Meatball Curry (Meatbol Kari)
A rich and moderately spicy curry made from Impossible beef with roasted spices, tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, and coconut milk (gluten-free, contains soy)
