Weekend Rice & Curry Menu

Rice & Curry is a special meal featuring several dishes together on one plate and is served only Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4 PM to close. The menu rotates every week and includes everything listed below for $19.50. [This is offered in addition to our main menu, which is available all day.]

To order rice & curry online, select a pickup or delivery time on a weekend day at 4 PM or later, and then you'll find "rice & curry" in the Entrees section of the menu.

From Friday 7/30 to Sunday 8/1, we are serving:

  • Pineapple Curry (Annasi Maluwa)

    Fresh pineapple cooked in a coconut curry with green chilies, onions, curry leaves, mustard seeds, and rampe

  • Tempered Okra (Bandakka Themparaduwa)
    Okra and cherry tomatoes stir-fried in coconut oil with curry leaves, cumin, onions, garlic, and rampe
  • Deviled Yuca (Manioc Thel Dala)

    Yuca (cassava) stir-fried in coconut oil with onions, curry leaves, mustard seeds, and green chilies

  • Dahl (Parippu)
    Masoor dahl tempered with onion, curry leaves, cumin, and mustard seed
  • Beetroot Sambol (Beetroot Sambol)

    A refreshing salad with shredded beets, grated coconut, onions, green chilies, and lime juice

  • Yellow Rice (Kaha Bath)
    Basmati rice cooked with rampe, coconut oil, vegetable broth, and saffron
  • Papadam (Papadam)

    Crispy fried crackers made from lentil flour

  • Choice of coconut sambol or seeni sambol

Served on a banana leaf. Gluten-Free and Soy-Free. We are not an entirely gluten- or soy-free kitchen. Optional spicy curries to add include:

  • Chick'n Curry (Kukul Mas Mirisata)  -  $4.50 extra
    A rich and spicy curry made with vegan chick'n, roasted spices, garlic, ginger, and lemongrass  (contains gluten & soy)
  • Young Jackfruit Curry (Polos Mirisata)  -  $4.50 extra

    A fragrant and moderately spicy curry made from young Sri Lankan jackfruit with roasted spices, onions, garlic, ginger, and coconut milk (gluten-free, soy-free)

  • Meatball Curry (Meatbol Kari)  -  $6.50 extra  

    A rich and moderately spicy curry made from Impossible beef with roasted spices, tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, and coconut milk (gluten-free, contains soy)
